DO YOU OWE TAXES OR HAVE UNFILED RETURNS IN PENNSYLVANIA OR PHILADELPHIA?

Both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia are running tax amnesty programs that can give you a chance to get caught up.  Under both programs, all penalties and ½ of the accrued interest will be waived if the past due taxes and remaining ½ interest is paid in full.  In order to be eligible, you must file any missing tax returns whether there are refunds or balances due.  If balances are due, they must be paid in full under the same amnesty terms as existing tax debts.

Pennsylvania amnesty runs from April 26, 2010 to June 18, 2010. Any liabilities not settled under amnesty will have all penalties and accrued interest remain, and have an additional 5% penalty assessed for non-participation in the amnesty program.  Philadelphia amnesty runs from May 3 to June 25, 2010.  Don’t miss out—clean your slate with the city and the state—file for your amnesty today.  If you would like our assistance with either amnesty program, don’t hesitate to contact us at 856-428-8210.
